Chive Muffins
2 c flour
1 tbsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp light brown sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 c milk
¼ c chopped fresh or freeze-dried chives
¼ c melted butter
Preheat oven to 400. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and brown sugar in medium bowl; mix well. Make a well in center. Mix egg, milk, chives and butter in a small bowl. Pour the mixture into the well and stir just until moist. Spoon batter into greased muffin cups. Bake for 20 minutes. Makes 12.
